Getting started

From a folder to a finished mix in five steps

No account, no cloud — analysis and rendering run on your own machine.

Install

Mixdis is a desktop app for Windows and Apple-silicon Macs. There is no public download yet — installers will be linked from here when the first release is published.

Everything runs on your machine: no account, no cloud. An NVIDIA GPU speeds up stem separation a lot but isn't required.

Add your music

Use + Add tracks… to pick files, or Analyze folder… to analyse a whole crate in one go. MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, AAC and AIFF are supported.

Tempo, key and beat grid appear within seconds. Neural stems are computed in the background and replace the quick ones when ready — the track header shows neural stems (100%) once they are.

Auto-plan the set

Press Auto-plan. Mixdis picks a mix-out point, a mix-in point and a blend style for every boundary, and resolves vocal, melody, bass and key clashes by ducking just the stems that clash.

Choose Tempo: Drift to let each track keep its tempo and ramp between them, or Locked to hold the whole set at the first track's tempo.

Listen and adjust

  • Press Space to play. Click anywhere on the timeline to move the playhead; changes are heard immediately.
  • Select a boundary to nudge track B's entry, or shift a track's bar line by a beat if the drop lands on the wrong beat.
  • Drag the dashed fade handles on the timeline, or right-click a track to add per-stem volume markers.
  • Draw dB markers on the bass lane to carve room for the incoming bass.
  • Ctrl Z undoes anything.

Save and export

  • Save set keeps the whole arrangement in one file; Load set reopens it.
  • Export renders the mix to a 44.1 kHz WAV (16/24-bit) or FLAC and writes a cue sheet and an M3U playlist alongside it.
